Deborah Foutch

Deborah is mixed media artist inspired by nature’s complexity and richness. After earning art and history degrees, she moved to Minnesota to pursue her art career and has exhibited nationally for 40 years. Working with diverse materials keeps her art dynamic. She is passionate about environmental issues and focuses on visual explorations of soil systems and their preservation, incorporating water movement, geology, and time into the layered works. Current projects use painted fabrics, eco-printed papers, and found objects, blending painting and quilting techniques. Her art aims to share beauty and foster connection.
