Corbett Vanoni

Corbett Vanoni is an illustrator, cartoonist, and fine artist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Born and raised in Southern California, Corbett spent many years working as an art director and prepress technician while freelancing in animation, illustration, and design. In 2008, he traded Los Angeles for Minneapolis and eventually found his creative home in the historic California Building (serendipity?) Since 2013, Corbett has been the in-house animator and illustrator for children’s educational music group The Learning Station, creating colorful, engaging artwork and animation for young audiences. His illustration and design work has also included projects for Edison High School, Waite Park Elementary, The Coffee Shop NE, and The Smitten Kitten, as well as contract work for Disney, Marvel, and Cartoon Network. These days, Corbett is devoting more of his time to his own work as a panel cartoonist and fine artist, with a particular love for pen and ink, watercolor, and charcoal. He is also exploring photo-based art, and looking forward to bringing some of the children’s stories he’s been carrying around in his head for years to the page.
